Arthur P. Johnson has been writing about wine and the wine community for about 15 years. He holds degrees from Swarthmore College, and from Oxford University, which he attended as a Marshall Scholar. He's been a computer geek ever since he took a course on Fortran II in 1966, and a wine geek from the time he tasted 1947 Taylor in 1974. It was only a matter of time until he combined the two obsessions on his main Website, Arthur P. Johnson's Wine People. That too was a long time ago, when the World Wide Web was a mere sprat, and now good old Wine People is looking a tad old fashioned.

Still he soldiers on. This little blog is a beta for a complete redesign.

This is not his day job. Yet.
